Getting ready for Summer

Spring is out and in with summer! The fishing has been stable with good water temps and flows. All of the spring rain is helping us leading into July, fishing is still good in Rangeley and the hatches have been epic! Should start to see some big bugs on the water during these warmer times of July.

The Rapid is fishing great! I am seeing Caddis, Sulphers and even some stray Hendricksons on the surface. Drifting Caddis emergers has been very productive in the pond area. Fishing is still holding strong going into summer. I have seen some very bad fish handling skills the last few days, please handle our fish with care!!!!

Water temps are approaching that magical 50F and suckers are dropping eggs!! Spawn patterns like egg clusters and crystal meth are still working. Water flows are coming down expect Hendricksons this week!!
